What it does
A notebook where, at the end of the day, you jot down just one thing you felt thankful for.
You write only one line. The length is deliberately kept short. Even if you have given up before because long entries were too much, it takes just a few seconds before bed.
To write, you simply choose from "People", "Things" and "Events". So you are never left staring at a blank field, each comes with an example to start from.
After a year, these small lines add up. If last year's you wrote a line on the same date, it quietly appears when you open the app. "This day last year" exists only for looking back later.
A week's worth is gathered into a single card. Even in a hectic week, lining them up shows how many small things remained.
It is fine to have days when you cannot write. The number of days in a row is shown small, and no words of blame appear when it breaks. There is no mechanism for comparing with others or ranking.
The evening reminder can be turned on only if you want it. If you have already written that day, it will not arrive that day.
What you write is saved only on this device. Nothing is sent outside, and no account registration is needed. You can also copy what you export and paste it into a notes app to keep it.
