• Photograph a warranty card or a receipt and the product name and the dates are read into a draft (you can correct anything it gets wrong)
• Enter the cover either as "date of purchase plus a period" or as the end date printed on the card
• When the end of the cover comes close, you are told quietly
• When you take something in for repair, "show in store" puts it on screen straight away
