What it does
A mysterious "beep" somewhere at midnight - where is it coming from? SoundSpot is a small toolbox for sound problems at home.
- Sound Hunter: walk around and the meter gets "hotter" as you get closer to the source
- Beep Catcher: measures the interval and pitch of an intermittent beep, and a culprit guide narrows down candidates (a chirp every few dozen seconds is the classic smoke-alarm low-battery warning)
- Noise Check: shows the current loudness as an approximate dB value, with everyday comparisons
- Night Sound Log: logs sound events during sleep (time, strength, pitch) for a morning review
- Ear Age Test: a just-for-fun check of how high a tone you can hear, with a result card
- Unlock everything (one-time purchase, no subscription)
Fix-it guides inside the culprit book (alarm removal, battery types, who to call), and the Night Sound Log
- Honest notes
This app is not a measuring instrument; values are approximate. The Ear Age Test is just for fun, not a hearing test or diagnosis.
- Privacy
The microphone is analyzed in real time only. Nothing is recorded, saved, or sent. All data stays on your device. No ads, no tracking.
